The scheme aims to promote domestic manufacturing of key components, raw materials, and accessories for medical devices (including IVDs), thereby reducing India’s dependence on imports and strengthening domestic value chains.
PurposeThe Marginal Investment Scheme for Reducing Import Dependence will be implemented over
a three-year period from FY 2024 to FY 2027, with a total budgetary allocation of ₹180 crore
to support eligible manufacturing projects across the medical device sector.
Projects approved under the Scheme shall be completed within two (2) years from the date of
final approval by the Scheme Steering Committee, with the final permissible completion date
being 31.3.2027.Funds are released only after completion & commissioning of project and completion of other requirements. Funding is equivalent to 10–20% of project cost or max ₹10 Cr on reimbursement basis, post-completion.

AgriSURE – 'Agri Fund for Start Ups & Rural Enterprises' is set up to support innovative, technology driven, high-risk, high-impact activities in agriculture and rural Start-ups ecosystem.
Purpose- The Scheme shall invest only in Start-ups recognized by DPIIT and incorporated in India.
- The Scheme will make investment of upto a maximum of ₹25 crore in one Start-up, subject to AIF Regulations.
- The Scheme will invest in equity, compulsorily convertible preference shares, or other equity related instrument.
- The Scheme may reinvest in successful Portfolio Companies during subsequent funding rounds to build upon its initial investments.

PurposeThe Startup should be incorporated as a private limited company (as defined in the Companies Act, 2013) or registered as a partnership firm (registered under section 59 of the Partnership Act, 1932) or a limited liability partnership (under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008) in Karnataka. Turnover of the entity for any of the financial years since incorporation/ registration has not exceeded INR 100 Crores.
For Elevate Unnati- At least one of the Director(s)/ Partner(s) or collectively must belong to the SC/ST community and such SC/ST member(s) must hold a minimum of 70% equity in the company/ firm.
For Elevate Minorities-At least one of the Director(s)/ Partner(s) or collectively must belong to the Minority community and such Minority member(s) must hold a minimum of 51% equity in the company/ firm.
