The Investor Readiness Program (IRP) is a Venture Center initiative under NIDHI – Center of Excellence aimed at connecting, mentoring and enabling startups to enhance their fund raising effort. The program is a customized approach specifically designed to cater the needs of the participating startup. The program also aims to create a powerful ecosystem of mentors, investors and other partners to support and promote the growth of innovative startups. This is a cohort based program.
Third cohort of IRP: Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Ltd. & Venture Center partnered and launched the third cohort of the Investor Readiness Program to accelerate & equip healthcare startups with the skills, knowledge & funding to thrive in the competitive landscape.
The focus areas include: Healthcare technology innovations in devices, diagnostics, therapeutics, rehabilitation with preference for cancer, metabolic/immunological/musculoskeletal disorders, women founders.

The program is a 24 week long tailored mentoring program ending in a startup showcase where the startups pitch in front of investors and other ecosystem partners.

Oct 1, 2025 : Startup showcase (Demo Day), Announcement-Reward grant winners
Phase 1 : Cohort is selected and startups are onboarded. A refundable program commitment fee of Rs. 5000 will be collected from startups joining the cohort.
Phase 2 : Assessment of current level of investor readiness, diagnosis. Identification of key areas of improvement & gap analysis via Diagnostic clinics and audits.
Phase 3 : Actions to improve business case (via templates, examples, strategic guidance via 1-on-1 mentoring by anchor investor mentors, specialized mentoring, service providers).
Phase 4 : Refined storyline and pitch deck creation. Build robust financial models that demonstrate the viability and scalability of your healthcare venture. Extensive pitch practice (via feedback, mock pitches, receive constructive feedback and so on). Investor matchmaking to drive follow-on investment opportunities.
Phase 5 : Startups pitch to a curated panel of investors and other ecosystem players to raise funds, network and get visibility to certain customer groups.
The winning pitches get a reward grant up to Rs 15 L.
