This scheme covers animal studies, human clinical investigations, post‑market follow‑up studies, and clinical
performance evaluations of IVDs.
The targeted beneficiaries include:
-Medical device manufacturers with a facility in India
- IVD manufacturers with Indian manufacturing
- National institutes (e.g., IITs, IISc, AIIMS, NIPERs)
These beneficiaries can conduct studies themselves or through CROs
Studies targeting rare diseases, national health issues, and high‑value import‑dependent devices receive priority.
