Overview

At Venture Center, our commitment to innovation and transforming ideas into impactful ventures has earned us prestigious national and international recognition.

We won the National Award for Technology Business Incubation for 2015, the Asian (AABI) Incubator of the Year Award in 2018 and then the National Entrepreneurship Award in 2019! More recently, we have received the National Intellectual Property Award for Nurturing IP in 2023, and Venture Center’s Bioincubator was ranked the No.1 bioincubator in the country in FY 2020-21 in Biospectrum’s Annual Survey of over 40 bioincubators across the country! We were also honored to receive the Cummins Excellence Award 2022 for the Cummins- Venture Center Collaboration project to support Clean Tech Innovation & Entrepreneurship with Cummins CSR grants.

Each accolade is a testament to our continuous dedication to entrepreneurial excellence and helps solidify our position as a leader in incubation excellence.

  • Receiving the National Award for Technology Business Incubation (2015) from the Honorable President of India - ShriPranab Mukherjee - on 11 May 2016 at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi on the occasion of National Technology Day.
  • Receiving our first international recognition - theAABI Award for Incubator of the Year for 2018 rom Mr.Huang Chingyao, President of AABI and Mr. Philip Kemp, Vice President of Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI), the pan-Asian association of incubators from 19 nations and regions. 
  • Receiving the National Entrepreneurship Award 2019 from Union Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey in November 2019. 
  • Receiving the certificate of merit in the Smart Incubator of the Year category at India Smart Utility Week (ISUW2019) organized by the India Smart Grid Forum.We received the award at the hands of Reji Kumar Pillai, President -ISGF | Chairman - Global Smart Grid Federation
  • Receiving the National Intellectual Property Awards 2021 & 2022 under the category of "Best Incubator for Nurturing IP". This award is given by the Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trademarks, and recognizes efforts towards strengthening the IP ecosystem in the country.
  • Receiving the Cummins Excellence Award 2022 for the Cummins - Venture Center Collaboration project to support Clean Tech Innovation & Entrepreneurship, which won under the Community Impact Category.
  • Receiving the award for the No. 1 Bioincubator for FY 20-21 at the Biospectrum Excellence Awards 2023. The award ranks bioincubators on parameters such as funds raised, MoUs signed, and no. of incubatees supported.
