Job Description
We are seeking a Business and Application Manager to join the growing Terahertz Technology business. This role bridges technical applications and business development, supporting our efforts in promoting Terahertz-based Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) & imaging solutions to diverse industries including Aerospace Composites, Automotive, Oil & Gas, and Research Institutions.
You will work closely with both technical and commercial teams, assisting in customer interactions, application demonstrations, and solution development while learning how to drive business growth in a niche high-technology field.
Responsibilities:
- Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) testing for customers.
- Assist in identifying and developing new application opportunities for Terahertz technology across various industries.
- Collaborate with the R&D and technical teams to understand customer requirements and prepare tailored solutions.
- Participate in exhibitions, seminars, customer visits and webinars to promote TeraLumen’s solutions.
- Help prepare technical proposals, quotations, and documentation under guidance from senior team members.
- Maintain and update customer interaction records in CRM tools.
- Learn and support market research activities to identify potential sectors and clients.
- Travelling would be 30 to 60%
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Physics, Photonics, or related fields.
- 3–6 years of experience in application engineering, technical support, or business development in B2B (project sales experience in scientific instrumentation or NDT is a plus).
- Strong interest in emerging technologies and industrial applications.
- Good communication and presentation skills to interact with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, demonstrations, and events.
