Intern-Product Design and Development

Positions available: 02

A. For B.E/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication / E & TC/ EEE students 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in design, prototyping, and fabrication of medical devices
• Work on embedded systems and integration of various hardware components
• Develop and test GUI applications for device interfaces
• Assist in technical and non-technical workshops

Preferred Skills:

• Programming experience in C, C++, MicroPython, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware interfacing
• GUI development using tools like TouchGFX, Qt, Python-Tkinter, or similar
• Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of sensor integration and data acquisition
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Creative mindset and interest in healthcare innovation

Preferred with candidates who have worked on some interesting/complex embedded projects. Portfolio is preferred.

B. For B.E/B.Tech in Industrial Product Design/ Mechanical students 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in design and prototyping of medical devices and harvesters

• Support in technical and non-technical workshops

• Contribute to visual design, documentation, and basic fabrication tasks
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SolidWorks, Blender, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere
• Interest in healthcare innovations and hands-on design
• Team player with a problem-solving mindset

Portfolio required from candidates which shows the industrial product design that they have done in the past

Duration: 2 months

Location: Both internships are in person based in our Prototyping lab in Pune
