Qualifications
- Pursuing BE in Mechanical Engineering with experience of 2D & 3D design with AutoCAD/Solidworks
- Hands-on experience of Fabrication tools and machines such as Lathe/CNC/VMC/Grinding/Drilling/Cutting will be a plus
Detailed Job Description
The hired candidate will be primarily responsible for the design and fabrication of components required for installation of the powertrain on the vehicle.
- Responsible for visualizing, designing, fabricating and fitting of required components on to the vehicle
- Participating in and contributing to technical discussions with other team members for understanding the requirements and constraints for optimum component design
- Proposing ideas and innovative designs for improving vehicle weight distribution, stability, ergonomics, etc.
- Complete disassembly of the existing vehicle drivetrain
- Upgradation of the Hydrovert workshop with the required tools and facilities for conducting the given work
- Interfacing with relevant vendors for fabrication of the required components
- Scoping out of the relevant testing requirements for the components and conducting tests via external vendors
Employment Type
- 6 months full time paid internship with a possibility to become a full-time employee.
