Research Assistant-Polymer Chemistry
Job Description & Candidate Profile
- B.Tech/M.S/Master’s degree in chemistry, polymer science, materials science or related fields
- 2+ years Skills and Knowledge:Polymer Chemistry:Strong understanding of polymerization mechanisms, polymer synthesis, and structure-property relationships
- Analytical Techniques: Proficiency in techniques such as spectroscopy (FTIR, UV-Vis), Characterization (Viscosity measurements,SEM), and thermal analysis (DSC, TGA). Lab Skills: Hands-on experience with polymer synthesis, characterization, and testing
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions. Visualisation of experimental results in the form of graphs, diagrams etc. Documentation: Experiment record keeping, Report writing, SOPs Safety
- Awareness: Knowledge of lab safety protocols and chemical handling. Research Experience:Prior experience in a research lab in industry is preferred. Familiarity with literature review and scientific writing.
- Soft Skills:Attention to Detail, communication skills, writing skills, Proficiency in English. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively. Creative thinking to address research challenges.
