Sr. Analyst-Analytical services
Job Description
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in operating and developing analytical methods using nano-DSC (nDSC), circular dichroism (CD), and surface plasmon resonance (SPR).
- Proven ability to process and interpret SPR sensorgram data, including kinetic and affinity analysis, reference subtraction, curve fitting, and the evaluation of binding parameters such as ka, kd, and KD.
- Proficiency in software applications used for the analysis and interpretation of protein structural data.
- Strong foundational knowledge of higher-order protein structure and protein stability, with the ability to apply this
understanding to analytical problem-solving. - Working knowledge of ALCOA principles and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, with practical experience operating within a GLP-compliant laboratory environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with excellent communication skills and ability to deliver robust analytical solutions to both industrial and academic clients in a time-bound manner
Qualifications & Skills
- PhD (Biotech / Microbio / biochem) with 2+ Industrial experience
- M.Sc OR M. Tech in Biotech / Microbio / biochem with 3+ yrs industrial experience

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, QC/QA, validation methods, GLP workflows, and documentation norms (particularly relevant for GLP-compliant testing services).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot complex scientific assays, manage multiple projects, and deliver under deadlines

Good communication and client-facing skills — able to liaise with external stakeholders (startups, industry, academia), explain technical aspects, draft proposals, and translate client requirements into assay strategies.

Strong organizational skills, ability to manage resources (instruments, consumables, lab personnel), and maintain documentation, QA/QC compliance.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Prior experience working in a CRO, biopharma lab, or characterization services environment.

Experience in biosimilar characterization, comparability studies, regulatory-compliant analytics.

Familiarity with business development for lab services, cost-recovery models, client engagement, and service-oriented delivery.

Publication record (for credibility); experience in cross-functional collaboration (with upstream process development, regulatory, formulation teams).
