Building a prototype is often the first step from idea to impact. It’s also when innovation is at its most uncertain—and most critical. That’s where the DST NIDHI PRAYAS program comes in—by supporting young innovators and first-time entrepreneurs to take their ideas from concept to prototype.
SINE at IIT Bombay is the implementation partner for the NIDHI PRAYAS program, and since 2016-17, Venture Center has had the privilege of being a NIDHI-PRAYAS Center for this pioneering initiative, during which time, we have supported 52 innovators in translating their ideas into functional prototypes and advancing their entrepreneurial journey.
Today, we were pleased to launch the NIDHI PRAYAS Impact Report, which captures Venture Center’s journey as a PRAYAS program execution partner. The report was formally released by Dr. S. Sivaram, Padma Shri awardee and Founder Chairperson of Venture Center. This report not only highlights our achievements as program partner but also captures the journeys of the grantees, the program’s nationwide impact, and the collaborative efforts that made it possible.
