This October, the Venture Center Library invites you to a special Book Club session with P. P. Ramachandran, author of Veterans of the Reserve Bank. For the first time at our Book Club, the author himself will join us to talk about his own book.
Having spent four decades with the Reserve Bank of India, Mr. Ramachandran brings personal experience to the conversation. Join fellow booklovers to hear from him, discuss the book, and bring along your questions.
What to Expect
- A discussion of Veterans of the Reserve Bank, led by its author.
- A chance to hear about his experiences during four decades at the Reserve Bank of India.
- A conversation about the people and stories featured in the book.
- An opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts with the author and fellow readers.

About the Author
P. P. Ramachandran is an author, book reviewer, and freelance writer who worked with the Reserve Bank of India for 40 years. He has authored three books, including RBI: An Anecdotal History.
He served on the Asiatic Library’s Book Selection Committee for 20 years and wrote weekly book reviews for the Free Press Journal.
A lifelong learner, he is also associated with KBC as a question researcher. His interests include art, music, theatre, travel, anecdotes, and trivia.
