This DIY Primer on Patents is designed to help innovators understand the basics of drafting and filing a patent application on their own. The session will walk participants through the patenting process in a practical, accessible way, with a focus on what inventors need to know before they begin.

What to expect : 

This will be an interactive session covering the fundamentals of patent drafting and filing, with opportunities for participants to ask questions and discuss their specific concerns. Do-it-yourself! If you choose not to hire a professional, learn how you can take the first steps yourself.

With over 12 years of experience across patents, trademarks, and industrial designs, Archana specialises in IP lifecycle management, strategy, technology assessment, and technology transfer and licensing.

Dr Premnath V. - Director, Venture Center 

The session will also feature an interactive “Ask Me Anything” with Dr. Premnath, giving participants the opportunity to raise their questions and get practical clarity on patents and IP.
