The talk will explore the rapidly evolving AI and deeptech investment landscape, offering insights into how investors evaluate emerging technologies, what makes startups investment-ready, and the opportunities shaping the next generation of innovation-led enterprises.

About the Speaker :
Gireendra Kasmalkar is an IIT Bombay alumnus with a Master’s degree from the University of South Carolina. Over the course of his entrepreneurial journey, he built one of India’s earliest and largest pure-play software testing companies, which was subsequently acquired by a global German firm listed on the London Stock Exchange.
He is the Founder of Ideas to Impacts Hub, a prominent startup ecosystem initiative based in Pune, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Pentathlon Ventures, an early-stage B2B technology-focused venture capital fund supporting startups through their scale and growth journeys.
Widely recognized for his strategic insights and founder-first approach, he actively mentors entrepreneurs and contributes to strengthening India’s innovation and startup ecosystem.

Pentathalon Ventures is a Pune-based early-stage B2B technology-focused venture capital fund built by founders, for founders.
