PM SVANidhi has launched a Startup Challenge inviting DPIIT-recognised startups to develop innovative, scalable solutions across six problem statements affecting street vendors:
1. Entrepreneurship Development for Street Vendors through Dedicated Handholding and Support
2. Eco-Friendly Packaging
3. Outreach and Vendor Identification
4. Bookkeeping and Financial Management
5. Credit Card Usage and Repayment Support (PM SVANidhi)
6. Climate-Resistant and Ergonomic Vending Solutions
Up to 5 startups will be selected per problem statement, with incentives of up to ₹20 lakh per startup, linked to milestone achievement and disbursed in tranches.
