Subject Matter Expert Round Table on “Agriculture & Livestock Innovations for India: Identifying Challenges & Opportunities for Impact”

Venture Center convened a closed-door online meeting on 31 July 2026 under Chatham House Rules, bringing together subject matter experts from academia, industry/startups, and policy research organizations to identify pressing national needs in the agriculture and livestock sectors. The session aimed to generate a wishlist of national priorities to be addressed through the Challenges Program, which seeks leapfrog solutions with validated, scalable evidence and clear translation pathways. This also laid the groundwork for an ongoing SME community through a mailing list and WhatsApp group for continued collaboration.
