CNC & Mechanical Technician

Job Description

  • Operate CNC machining/VMC and perform CNC programming and program editing.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
  • Operate conventional lathe, drilling and other workshop machines.
  • Perform TIG/MIG/ARC welding and sheet-metal bending/fabrication work.
  • Handle hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper and micrometer.
  • Perform machine setup, tool changing, inspection and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain workshop safety, 5S and equipment cleanliness.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Mechanical trade) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 0–2 years. Freshers with a relevant ITI/Diploma qualification are encouraged to apply.
  • Understanding of machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Willingness to learn CNC machining, prototyping and mechanical fabrication.
  • Good practical/mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a hands-on environment.

  • Venture Center’s working hours are 9.30 AM – 5.30 PM (Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday) and are designed to keep operations of Venture Center convenient for the start‐ups, entrepreneurs, inventors and others that the organization serves. Managers in certain functions are provided the opportunity to avail of flexible hours. All jobs are located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
