Job Description
- Knowledge of Tally Prime, ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
- Monitor & handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, receipts, and journal entries, bank reconciliation and related work.
- Knoweldge of applicable taxes, and other statutory compliance requirements, Assist with statutory compliance including company law, income tax and indirect taxes etc.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure books are maintained accurately and up to date.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and other financial information as required.
- Prepare and maintain documentation and financial reports required for Utilisation Certificates (UCs) and grant/project reporting to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide relevant financial records, schedules, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting and financial records.
- Assist in budgeting & forecastin
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve accounting and payment-related queries.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: CA / M.Com / B.Com or equivalent; 7–12 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience in account reconciliation and maintaining books of accounts.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow through on tasks from start to finish.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines.

- Venture Center’s working hours are 9.30 AM – 5.30 PM (Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday) and are designed to keep operations of Venture Center convenient for the start‐ups, entrepreneurs, inventors and others that the organization serves. Managers in certain functions are provided the opportunity to avail of flexible hours. All jobs are located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
