Electronics & Communication Engineer–Embedded Systems, AI & Product Development
Job Description
- End-to-end electronic product development spanning concept, architecture, electronics design, embedded firmware, AI integration, prototyping, testing, and product realization.
- PCB design using Altium Designer and KiCAD, including schematic capture, layout, routing, manufacturing documentation, and board bring-up for 2-layer and multi-layer (4+ layer) boards.
- Firmware development, hardware debugging, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting across embedded platforms.
- Working with microcontrollers and embedded platforms including STM32, ESP32, ARM Cortex, Raspberry Pi, and similar systems.
- Implementing and integrating Machine Learning, Edge AI, and Computer Vision solutions into product development workflows.
- Applying knowledge of communication protocols including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, and MQTT.
- Using laboratory equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators, and Multimeters for testing and validation.
- Applying DFM, DFT, and product validation practices to ensure manufacturable and reliable designs.
Requirements and preferences
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic product development, embedded systems, and prototyping.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and Embedded C.
- Experience with PCB design using Altium Designer and KiCAD; ability to independently design 2-layer and multi-layer PCBs (4+ layers).
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and power electronics; good grasp of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, grounding, shielding, and high-speed design practices.
- Working knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Edge AI, Computer Vision, and AI-assisted product development tools.
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or Scikit-Learn is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve multidisciplinary engineering challenges across hardware, software, embedded systems, and AI domains.
- Self-driven, hands-on, and passionate about building innovative products in a fast-paced R&D environment.
