Mechanical Engineer–Product Design & Development
Job Description
- Hands-on work in Product Design & New Product Development (NPD) across the full development lifecycle.
- 3D modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings using SolidWorks; 2D drafting as required.
- Performing structural and CFD analyses using ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Fluent.
- Applying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles in product development.
- Prototype development, fabrication, testing, and iterative improvement of products.
- Operating machine shop equipment including VMC, CNC/Conventional Lathe, Milling, and Drilling Machines.
- Preparing GD&T-compliant engineering drawings and adhering to manufacturing best practices.
Requirements and preferences
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Product Design & New Product Development (NPD); 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D Modeling, Assemblies, Drawings) and 2D Drafting.
- Experience with ANSYS Mechanical (Structural Analysis) and ANSYS Fluent (CFD Analysis).
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Familiarity with machine shop equipment: VMC, CNC/Conventional Lathe, Milling, and Drilling Machines.
- Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing practices.
- Self-driven with strong ownership mindset; experience in product development, R&D, or prototyping environments preferred.

Managers in certain functions are provided the opportunity to avail of flexible hours. All jobs are located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
