Video Editing/Making
Venture Center is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editing Intern to support the production of high-quality digital content. The intern will work on editing podcasts, startup stories, science communication content, technical videos, event highlights, and promotional materials that showcase innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology.
Job Description
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, cohesive videos while ensuring clarity and audience engagement.
- Develop short-form content, reels, teasers, and promotional clips from long-form videos.
- Add graphics, captions, transitions, animations, and branding elements to enhance video quality.
- Organize and manage video assets, project files, and content archives.
- Ensure timely delivery of video content while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with Canva for creating thumbnails, graphics, and social media creatives.
- Understanding of video storytelling, pacing, color correction, and audio editing.
- Ability to simplify and present technical or scientific content in an engaging format.
