ICT and Facilities Support Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Junior ICT and Facilities Support Specialist to join our team. This role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including computer, electrical and ICT maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical skills, strong organisational abilities, and excellent communication capabilities to ensure the smooth functioning of our ICT infrastructure and facilities.\
Primary
- Maintenance and monitoring of computer networks, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi systems
- Troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues faced by employees
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, software, and basic IT infrastructure
- Managing user support requests and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
- Conducting regular backups of servers, databases, and critical organizational data
- Supporting basic server upkeep, database maintenance, and system health monitoring
- Coordination with internet service providers and IT vendors when required
- Assisting in setup and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment for meetings, workshops, and events
- Maintaining records of IT assets, systems, and support activities
Secondary
The candidate may also support basic facilities and infrastructure coordination activities, including:
- Coordinating with vendors for electrical and networking-related maintenance work
- Assisting with upkeep and monitoring of DG sets, UPS systems, and power backup infrastructure
- Supporting telephone line and communication system maintenance
- Coordinating minor infrastructure troubleshooting and repair follow-ups
- Assisting the workplace/facilities team during events or operational requirements
Candidate Profile
- Any graduate OR ITI-certified candidate in relevant trades (IT, electronics, networking, electrical, computer hardware, etc.)
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi systems, printers, Windows systems, and office IT infrastructure
- Hands-on, dependable, and service-oriented approach
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and support multiple teams
- Prior experience in IT support, systems administration, or facility coordination will be preferred

- Venture Center’s working hours are 9 AM – 6.00 PM (Monday to Saturday) and are designed to keep operations of Venture Center convenient for the start‐ups, entrepreneurs, inventors and others that the organization serves. Managers in certain functions are provided the opportunity to avail of flexible hours. All jobs are located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
