We are recognised by DST – Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi, for the ongoing project.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate intern to join our Power Electronics team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to developing next generation power conversion systems (such as AC/DC converters, solar inverters,
or motor drives) that directly impact our goal of reaching a carbon-neutral future. You will work alongside expert engineers to gain hands-on experience in the simulation, design, and testing of high-efficiency power systems.

  • Simulation & Analysis
    • Perform system-level and circuit-level simulations for power electronic converters.
    • Utilize industry-standard tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice, or PSpice to model and optimize system behaviour.
    • Conduct thermal, signal integrity, and reliability analysis to predict component life and performance.
  • Hardware Design Support
    • Assist in the design of power circuits, including switching regulators and power supply filtering.
    • Support PCB layout activities from schematics creation to Gerber release, ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC standards.
    • Collaborate on component selection (SiC/GaN devices, magnetic components, and capacitors) based on project specifications.
  • Testing & Validation
    • Perform laboratory tests on prototypes and measuring stations.
    • Use measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and multimeters to troubleshoot and validate designs.
    • Document test procedures, results, and technical insights in comprehensive reports.

Candidate Profile
  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (3rd or 4th year preferred).
  • Technical Fundamentals: Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits, power conversion topologies, and control theory.
  • Software Skills: Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink) and PCB design software (Altium, KiCad, or Eagle).
  • Soft Skills: Proactive attitude, analytical thinking, and a commitment to green energy and sustainable development.
