The session will feature Shivani Kulkarni, Vice President at Prime Venture Partners, bringing over 8 years of experience in startup investments across FinTech, DeepTech, ConsumerTech, and Marketplaces. The talk will offer practical insights on deep-tech fundraising — from preparing materials and outreach to pitching strategies, investor trends, and lessons from successful fundraising journeys including Dozee and StrainX.

Shivani Kulkarni has 8+ years of experience in startup investments across sectors such as FinTech, DeepTech, ConsumerTech, and Marketplaces. Prior to Prime Venture Partners, she was part of the Venture Investments team at Flipkart, where she worked on investments in companies such as Finbox, Hyperface, GOAT Brand Labs, and Ninjacart. She also has experience in investment banking with Avendus Capital, advising companies on fundraising and M&A transactions.
Over the years, Shivani has worked closely with founders across the startup lifecycle — from evaluating investment opportunities and fundraising strategies to supporting high-growth venture-backed companies. She holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from PES University.
