The session is planned on the 24th of April, 10 – 11am and will help create awareness about the Biotech Ignition Grant (BIG) Scheme and the facilities available at Guwahati Biotech Park for Incubation.

Dr. Shalini Singh holds Ph.D in Chemistry from University of Pune. She has done her post-doctoral training from RMIT University, Melbourne. Her research 5+ experience includes work on synthesis and characterization of II- VI compound semiconductor Nanomaterials various applications in the field ofoptoelectronic devices, biolabeling etc and project management. She is a Specialist - Funding programs at VC and is actively involved in BIG program management through program promotion, creating awareness of science entrepreneurship, managing screening/review of proposals, proposal due diligence, contract management, project monitoring, mentoring of grantees and stakeholder relationships. She is also developing the funding database for Venture Center.
