{"id":79,"date":"2022-08-12T08:51:29","date_gmt":"2022-08-12T08:51:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.venturecenter.co.in\/csr\/garwarefulflex\/?page_id=79"},"modified":"2022-08-19T12:29:59","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T12:29:59","slug":"eligibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.venturecenter.co.in\/csr\/garwarefulflex\/eligibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">ELIGIBILITY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Nature of projects supported<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Theme \/ Focus Areas of Grant program <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-regular-font-size\"><li>Innovative Polymers &amp; soft materials based products<\/li><li>Solutions for polymeric waste management &amp; value addition<\/li><li>Circular Economy &amp; Sustainability with regards to materials<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-black-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\" class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><li>The project needs to define a technology or knowledge intensive solution to a well-defined problem as per the above mentioned theme \/ focus areas<\/li><li>The technology should be innovative\/ novel.<\/li><li>Project should be focused on building prototype \/ prototype validation \/ implementing a technology \/ conducting pilot studies.<\/li><li>Every project proposal will need to identify a Project Leader and an Applicant\/ Grantee.<\/li><li>The Project Leader (PL) will be an individual who will take responsibility for executing the project.<\/li><li>The Applicant or Grantee can be either of the following:<ul><li>Case 1: Applicant is an individual<\/li><li>Case 2: Applicant is a company<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>PL has to be an individual (one person).<\/li><li>PL is required to be at least 18 years of age as on the date of call for applications.<\/li><li>PL is required to be Indian Citizen. An Indian citizen is defined as one who is in possession of a government approved proof of nationality such as a valid passport, voter\u2019s id etc. Exceptional cases of foreign nationals with potential for impact in India will be considered.<\/li><li>PL has to pursue the project or startup full time with no other concurrent commitments during the project duration.<\/li><li>PL cannot be pursuing a long-term academic\/research project (like doctoral students) with significant obligations during the project duration.<\/li><li>PL must have completed basic undergraduate training in natural sciences\/engineering\/ medicine. Essential qualification is PhD\/ MTech\/ BTech\/ BPharm \/MD\/ MBBS\/ BDS\/ MSc \/ MPhil\/ M Des\/ MPH \/MBA \/ MSW and equivalents, with under\u2010 graduate training in Science, Medicine, Engineering. Applicants with a BSc degree with at least 1 year of full-time work or research experience shall also be eligible<\/li><li>If Applicant is a company, the Company \/ LLP should be registered under the relevant acts in India.<\/li><li>The company should be owned by resident Indian citizens i.e. minimum 51% of the capital is beneficially owned by resident Indian citizen(s) and \/ or Indian companies, which are ultimately owned and controlled by resident Indian citizens<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:20px\"><strong>Not Eligible<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol type=\"1\" class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-regular-font-size\"><li>Pure software development with no IP potential<\/li><li>Ideas or concepts\/exploratory research ideas that have not been proven and projects with no element of novelty<\/li><li>Proposals without preliminary data and technology commercialization objectives<\/li><li>Projects with no plan towards saleable (implementable) technology\/ products\/services<\/li><li>Funding cannot be used to support PhD student research or any other academic research.
