{"id":56,"date":"2021-06-23T08:39:46","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T08:39:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.venturecenter.co.in\/csr\/cummins\/?page_id=56"},"modified":"2021-06-29T06:43:19","modified_gmt":"2021-06-29T06:43:19","slug":"eligibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.venturecenter.co.in\/csr\/cummins\/eligibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"boldgrid-section\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-md-12 col-xs-12 col-sm-12\">\n<h5 class=\"\"><strong>Nature of projects supported<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ol class=\"\">\n<li>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Eligible<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>The project needs to define a technology solution to a well-defined problem<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>The technology should be innovative\/ novel<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Project should be focused on implementing a technology \/ conducting pilot studies.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Not eligible<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol class=\"\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5>Pure software development with no IP potential<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Pure academic research<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h5 class=\"\">&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"\"><strong>Focus Areas&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n<h5>The areas which will be considered for grant are called as key focus areas and are listed down as follows<\/h5>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li>\n<h5>Energy &amp; Environment<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h5>Energy efficiency<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Renewable energy<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Air pollution<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Provisions for drinking water<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Waste management&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Alternative Energy<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Environment Clean tech &nbsp;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Biomass utilization etc&#8230;<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 class=\"\">&nbsp;<\/h5>\n<h5 class=\"\"><strong>Eligibility of Applicants and Project Leaders for projects<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li>\n<h5>Every project proposal will need to identify a Project Leader and an Applicant\/ Grantee<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>The Project Leader (PL) will be an individual who will take responsibility for executing the project.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>The Applicant or Grantee can be either of the following:<\/h5>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li>\n<h5>Case 1: Applicant is an individual<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>Case 2: Applicant is a company<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"\" style=\"line-height: 2em; letter-spacing: 0em;\">\n<li>\n<h5>PL has to be an individual (one person).<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>PL is required to be at least 18 years of age as on the date of call for applications.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>PL is required to be Indian Citizen. An Indian citizen is defined as one who is in possession of a government approved proof of nationality such as a valid passport, voter\u2019s id etc. Exceptional cases of foreign nationals with potential for impact in India will be considered.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>PL has to pursue the project or startup full time with no other concurrent commitments during the project duration.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>PL cannot be pursuing a long-term academic\/research project (like doctoral students) with significant obligations during the project duration.<\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h5>PL must have completed basic undergraduate training in natural sciences\/engineering\/ medicine. Essential qualification is PhD\/ MTech\/ BTech\/ BPharm \/MD\/ MBBS\/ BDS\/ MSc \/ MPhil\/ M Des\/ MPH \/MBA \/ MSW and equivalents, with under\u2010 graduate training in Science, Medicine, Engineering.
