Technopreneur Promotion Program (TePP)
"Technopreneur Promotion Program (TePP)" is run by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research to promote innovation and to promote individual innovators to become technology -based entrepreneurs (Technopreneurs). There are various schemes under the TePP program to fund various stages of technology development and needs of individual innovators. A snapshot of the various schemes under this program is given below:

| Phase II: Seamless Scale-up Support for TePP (S3T) | To incubating enterprise promoted by independent Innovator. For improving market access, by carrying out such value added work like adding product features, protection by patenting, aesthetic design, limited production for market seeding etc | Innovator who has successfully completed TePP Phase-I project and desires to take innovation to market | Maximum support under this category is Rs. 45,00,000 subject to a maximum 50% of approved project cost. | Scheme detail Application Form RTF PDFTerms and Conditions RTF PDFGuidelines RTF PDF |
| Phase II: Supplementary TePP Fund (STF) | For improving transferability potential of innovations supported under Phase-I, by carrying out such value added work like adding product features, protection by patenting, aesthetic design etc, as desired by business partner. | Innovators who have successfully completed TePP Phase-I projects are eligible.
