- Develop and demonstrate capabilities to exploit the full capabilities of the facilities to advance science and technology
- Develop the facilities further by adding complementary facilities, new capabilities and service offerings
- Undertake projects that leverage the facility and enhance capabilities and visibility
- Run workshops and training programs to increase awareness and use of facilities.
- Serve as a nucleus to nurture a community of specialists in related fields.
